Missional Community Training

Training for Existing and Emerging Leaders

September 2016 – May 2017

What is it?
An eight-month training experience designed to equip you to lead existing missional communities or start new ones. Every two weeks you will receive training from Elly and Paul Maconochie, Chris Norman and other senior leaders. As part of the training you and your core team will also be huddled by a dedicated coach. The training will be highly interactive, with plenty of real-life examples from different mcs.

Who is it for?
The leadership teams of existing missional communities and emerging core teams. In order to access this training you will need to come as a leadership team, rather than as an individual. You will have the opportunity to work with your co-leaders to apply the training to your own context, to listen to the Lord, and to make plans together.

What areas will the training cover?
• How do we discern vision and direction?
• How do we call an effective core team to join us?
• How do we identify people of peace and begin to disciple them together?
• How do we run an effective mc that is lightweight and low maintenance?
• How do we raise up leaders?
• How do we multiply well?

When and where is it?
7pm-8.45pm Monday nights (biweekly) in the Family Room starting Sep 12, 2016.

Semester One – Sep 12, Sep 26, Oct 10, Oct 24, Nov 7, Nov 21, Dec 5
