These aren't a list of rules. They're the story we've found ourselves inside, and the One we keep returning to.
Intro
Section 1: Who is God
The nature of God
Before doctrine, before practice, before anything else — there is God. Infinite, holy, and yet personally knowable. We start here because everything else does.
The Trinity
One God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. A truth the Church has confessed for two thousand years, never fully explained but always experienced.
The Holy Spirit
God present, God at work, God within us. The Spirit makes everything Jesus accomplished personally available to us today.
The person & work of Jesus
Fully God. Fully human. Crucified, buried, risen. The hinge of history and the heart of our faith. Everything Christian flows out from this person.
God the Father
Not a distant authority, but a Father — one who initiates love, keeps his promises, and welcomes his children home.
Section 2: How God Speaks and Reigns
The Kingdom of God
Heaven breaking into earth. The reign of Jesus showing up wherever his people pray, serve, forgive, and love. Already here, not yet fully come.
The authority of Scripture
The inspired and inerrant word of God. Not a rulebook to consult, but a living text that reads us as much as we read it.
Section 3: What God has Done in us
Humanity, sin, and grace
Made in God's image. Bent by sin. Met by grace. The story of every person who has ever lived, told in three movements.
Salvation
Not earned. Not deserved. Not partial. The complete and forever gift of being made right with God through Jesus, received by repentance and faith.
Divine sovereignty & human responsibility
God reigns over all. We make real choices. Both are true. We don't try to flatten the mystery — we live faithfully inside it.
Section 4: How we Live Together in Hope
The Church
Not a building. Not an event. A family. The body of Christ scattered through the week and gathered to worship — Jesus is the head, we belong to one another.
Baptism & communion
Tangible, ordinary things — water, bread, wine — made extraordinary by Jesus. The two sacred practices the Church has shared from the beginning.
Christian hope & last things
Jesus will return. The dead will rise. Heaven and earth will be made new. Our hope isn't escape from the world — it's the redemption of it.
